can't seem to get clone cd or cdrwin to work with burner - any help would be great - am really new at this - email xxxceed**********com

You need firmware version Rev. 1.07 to work with Clonecd.
What o/s are you using?

am using win me
actually it is 8439e - updated model I think - firmware is listed as being 1R09 which means nothing to me

i to have a prob cloning!
I'm using Nero burning rom!
when i go to play the game the autostart comes up and i click play, and it says please insert disk!!!

i have tested the creative rw8439E 1R09 and it is unable to copy protected games.
ps to above msg "nero" can only be used to copy patched games ie perfect copys are not possible.
if there is any change in this info please msg me

8439e is not supported by either burning program, that is why you cannot get it to work.

Although 8439E is not offically supported, nero works fine on this drive.
But nero cant handle modern protection schemes.
Although nor does the drive.
