Nero audio CD backup way bigger than original?
 

I used the "save track" option in Nero 5 and saved theaudio tracks as wav but when I tried to record the tracks to a 80min cd it was like 804mb! I tried to remove the pregap (of 2sec) but my ACER 12x8x32 did not accept it. The original cd is about 690mb, what's going on?

how did you realize that it was 690 mb?

Why not just do a Cd-copy. Or if you have to, put them into mp3 first, no real advantage of putting them into wav like u done - takes u way to much space. But go for a cd-copy - don't do on the fly cos I don't like on the fly, it's not 100% for me.

how many minutes are you trying to write to the cd?

wwav and mp3 might be the solution like ghosthacker said...
