audio cd protections
 

i am thinking of buying a liteon cdr,24\10\40,i know i will be able to back up any games that i buy,well most of them,but will it back up any audio cds that i buy that has audio cd protections in them.
someone mentioned that it wouldnt be able to copy cd protections on audio cds,it wasnt on this forum.
i know you people know your stuff here,thats why im asking.hope someone will bw able to help me out.

It will copy the audio protections such as Cactus Data Shield

thanks for that info,ive never heard of cactus data shield,but i assume it is probably one of good protections on audio cds,so if the liteon can back that up,sounds good,so i will be getting that one.thanks

BTW: Use Clone CD when backing up protected audio cd's

as far as i know, it can write it but not read it! Also i havent; come across an audio cd that has been protected!
