how can i convert svcd to vcd

hope you can help
my lg (4750) home dvd player will not play svcd copys and will play vcd copys so i was hoping someone would know how convert svcd to vcd any idears would help or how to make my lg dvd player play them

I am having the same problem as you but I can play my svcd on my desktop but not on my sony dvd player or my laptop
