PAL v3 with Messiah
 

I have a Playstation Pal V3 but now i want to chip it with messiah but is that a good choice ??
I hear from loads of people that its not good to chip it with messiah cause its a V3??? they say the laser is to weak and that it won't last long with DVD-r games??
is this True???

any people who read this and have an V3 pal with Messiah pleez tell me your experience with this chip and your V3

if your V3 wasn't chipped with a neo 2 before, it should be fine. it's only pretty difficult to mod cause you have to solder directly to the cd/dvd controller chip.. I have a v3 with messiah and no problems at all.

no it isn't modified yet so does this mean my chances are bigger to mod it with messiah?

it can be modded either way, it just could've had problems with dvd-r if it was modded with a neo.
cdr, cd and dvd will work anyways, and chances are good dvd-r will too. they do for me.

The laser will be broklen if you have installed a noe chip before but since you don`t have chipped your ps2 a messiah wouldn`t be a problem. Only fitting a messiah cost a lot of time it is very hard to do.

it's not that hard to do actually, just takes a bit of patience, a steady hand, and the right tools.
