DVD-Region X And VCD/SVCD/BACKUPS
 

This is a thread that i bet a lot of people will want to add to and are curious about,

Can the DVD-Region X play the following -

(1) VCDS
(2) SVCDS
(3) PS1BACKUPS
(4) PS2BACKUPS

it can b used in conjunction with mod chip to boot games

Grr, well gutted now, DVD's use MPEG2 and SVCD's use MPEG2. I know a lot bout DVD's/divx ect and know that it is NOT impossible to play SVCD'S in the PS2, but NOT "!" VCD's cause they are MPEG1
