Is there a patch that enables Amplify Weak Sector?
 

I tried going to cdrsoft.cc and I can't seem to download it from there. I use to have that patch and for some odd reason, it said the date passed or expired and I can't open it so I went there to try downloading it but with no hope. Anyone here with a patch that I can download to enable this option or any tips? I'm trying to avoid that changing region method :). thx

Don't think so - the only method that works that I know about is the changing regional settings method.

At the start there was another way (involved searching for 'AmplifyWeak' in the registry and enabling it). This ticked the AWS box in the program but I think I remember people saying that the AWS didn't actually work (it just looked as if it was cos it was ticked).

Just change your regional settings - you probably live in US, so move to Canada (no major changes I beleive)

I live in Canada, er can you tell me the changes then or what I have to do? I heard amplify weak sector is disabled in all North American Versions...

If you live in Canada then it will be enabled (unless your settings aren't set to Canada). Check in Control Panel...Regional Settings that it is at Canadian.
