need modchip for swap?

do you need a modchip or usbmod for a swap trick,
or just a gameshark or action replay?
usa play station
what works for a swap with all games?

I would install a internal modchip. You are more at risk of damaging the PS2 by preforming the knife or card swap than you are doing it the right way and installing a chip.

i used for a lot of time ACTION REPLAY 2 (i have no mod chip) it worked very good but i lost my cd!!!
now i'm searching for an action replay to download(from the net)
if someone can....please help me!!!!!

You must have a original to boot with. A downloaded boot disc will not work.

wait a minute....u were able to play backups of games without a modchip at all..just the ACTION REPLAY cd....what formats could u play...were they dvdr??
