Which is the best burn tool + Error ?. *im new*
 

HI,

I just bought a Plextor 40/24/10 writer, and was about to make a copy of a 773mb bin file. Now I need to know.

1. I only have 80min disks (verbatim), can they be used ?

2. If so what program do I have to run ?

3. The reason I write is because I already installed my Plextor and when i start CDRWIN, it says "fail to find atapi manager on the system. I tried copying the atapi.sys file into CDRWIN directory, but it didnt help. It cant find my CD burner. Im useing WinXP proff. (A7M266 ASUS motherboard if that has something to do with it).

I really hope you can help me out on this one. As im pretty puzzled on this matter. :-)

Is your burner recognised by Windows itself?? What version of Windows are you running?? If it's XP try inserting this file in your cdwritingsoftwaredirectory: http://www.cdspeed2000.com/files/wnaspi32.dll.

The image will probably fit on a 80 min cdr, i'm pretty sure, so just try it out. You can do this using CDRWin if you like, Nero is also possible.

Image files such as ones made in Clone CD are usually a bigger filesize than what they will burn as due to the information added to the image fiele - it'll burn on 80min Cd Ok.

You might need to update your ASPI layers.
