Hello, is it possible to make a perfect copy of medal of honor allied assault with a HP 8200+ 4x4x24 cdwriter

Come on guys...thought you were hackers...thats an ez one.k listen up closely..
1) create 2 new folders on your desktop(right click on desktop,new,folder)
2)put MOH disk 1 in your drive and copy the contents of the original cd to one of your two new folders(make sure you remember which one is disk 1 and 2)
3)repeat the process above with disk 2(make sure to copy the contents to the EMPTY folder of the two you created that way one folder contains disk 1 and the other disk 2)
4)Burn the contents of the (disk 1)folder to a cd using the name MOHAA_DISK1
5)Burn the contents of the (disk 2)folder to a cd using the name MOHAA_DISK2
6)Your DONE!!


You can install the game from these disks,but you need to install the 1.1 patch and get the no cd crack for 1.1 from GAMECOPYWORLD to play it!!:cool:

I don't think so. If you had, you would have realized the tiny words >perfect copy<.

A crack is never a substitute for a prefect copy.

An outstanding criteria for a perfect copy is that it runs without a crack.

Absolutely - perfect copies are far more desireable than cracked ones because when it comes to updating the game there is no problem for the perfect copy whereas the cracked game will not be able to be updated easily as the update will check the main exe to see what's goin on.

ok guys my bad....i did skip the "Perfect"...But i did give him a backup...you see cause he will still have the necessary files,and you yourself know(with the exception of moto racer 3)that if you can install the game you can play it!When installed from the backup i told him how to make, the game is at version 1.0 and is installed just as an original copy is.The protection kicks in when u try to start the game,but that is easily fixed,and all the registry entries are in place to allow for patching.So it may not be a "perfect" copy,but it is a copy...

Sorry to disagree, but it doesn't check the registry to see if the game is cracked. The updater checks the main exe to see if it is the correct file size etc. When you replace the main exe with the new "fixed exe" (the crack) you change the filesize.

Well that's what is the norm for most games - unless of course it's a different matter for MOHAA :confused: lol

If you do a little checking im sure you will find that MOH does check the registry to see if the game was properly installed ,and not the size of the .exe....BUT i do agree that most games will check the exe ,but so far thats not an issue w/MOH.Maybe in the future the patch will check the exe,but for now if the registry entries are there,the 1.1 patch will install,even if u have a cracked 1.0 exe.Seems that unlike most games MOH could care less...heh You guys are hackers arent you?!?!? lol:cool:

Yep I'm back again - I didn't open the books after all. It's on Mechanics (Newton's Laws, Kinetmatics, Vectors etc) scary stuff!!!

yea I know you can crack it but I like the music and videos and I don't want the hassle of updating a cracked game.
