ADVICE PLEASE ON A CDR & CDRW
 
HI CAN ANY ONE ADVISE ME ON THE BESR CDR FOR READING ALL TYPES OF DATA I.E. SUB CHANNEL DATA, SUB CHANNEL AUDIO AND IF POSSIBLE THE BEST AT WRITING THIS TYPE AS WELL MANY THNX FOR REPLIES.

COULD NOT GET MONEY BACK FOR TRAXXY SO I GAVE IT A VIKING SEND OF THIS AFTERNOON IT WAS CRAP AND ONLY 3 MONTHS OLD SERIOUS ADVICE ONLY PLEASE

look its anyones guess !whats the best writer
or best software its all trial and error
but Sony 140e and latest version of clone
which I use with at least 90%success rate

i have the same SOny 140e and it can copy every thing except SD2

Any Phillips CD Re/Writer, Or an Artec CD Re/Writer, and appharently any Acer CD Re/Writer, All of these can copy most of the protected titles that are out at present, including Safedisk 2 titles.

I got rif of my Philips 3610 because of a design fault (grease inside dries up fast). I gave Philips a right slagging-off and the air was blue.

Guess I'll have to eat humble pie, if Philips are the only one's that can do SD2!

Can the 8x Philips model copy SD2? (The one that's coloured shiny silver).

many thanks every one with so many makes out there i did not want to have another lame duck.
any particular model nos or will most phillips and acer do.
