C&C Renegade - Cracked Patch for Multiplayer Mode?
 

The single player is all right but where the game will shine (as always) is multi-player. The problem is that to run multi-player the game forces a download of a patch. The patch will not load because the game file has been modified (cracked). Therefore the multi-player will not run. If you reinstall the game so that the game file is the right size you cannot run it in the first place in order to get the patch to load..argh.

Any ideas?

I don't know if it will work on this game, but I have tried this on other games and it did. Rename the cracked game.exe and leave the uncracked original file in the gamefolder. Start the game with the renamed crack file. By the way, did you try downloading the most recent update from the official website and installing it yourself??

I didn't need to, I just downloaded the update, installed it, used the multiplayer fix(actually just the bandwidth.dll from the demo) and joined a multiplayer game through GameSpy Arcade with no problem.
