Help a newbie ro copy Max Payne
 

How do I copy Max Payne from the original CD? I have the latest version of Nero but somehow it does not work. I tried CloneCD with the trial version which has some feature disabled since I am in the US. (Not sure if that has anything to do with it.)

My writer is an "old" Smart & Friendly Mach 12 speed.

I've been told that if you change your regional settings, that feature will be enabled. You should try that, because that feature is exactly what is needed to make copies of protected games.

Yea migrate to Canada. You can grab a ticket in Control Panel...Regional Settings.
Then when reading to an image file tick Fast Error Skip.
When writing tick Amplify Weak Sectors (this doesn't help all writers).

If it doesn't help your writer then download a fixed exe from either:
