I've been reading now that you can't play games over 630mb with the no-solder v5 rmod? You have this, right? What can you tell me about it? Thanks.

Most of the problems people are having are with hi TOC dvd games ripped onto 80 min cdr's. So far i like the chip. I have a dvd writer so i have no need to bother ripping games. So far every compact disc backup that i have loads and plays perfectly as well as every dvd-r backup. To me it works just as good as my 2nd console that is chiped with a lik-sang 2.5 dvd chip.

So if the DVD rip was 74 mins or less, it would probably work?

And I don't suppose you can make them 2 cd rips, each being under 74 mins?

The problem is not getting them to load, they load fine, They freeze in play when they reach the end of the GS2's TOC.

So you could play a good portion of the game, then it'd take a shit on ya when it's getting good? What about splitting it, as mentioned above?

I may be wrong but i dont think it's possible to split them.
