PX-W8432T, does it do fast error skip?
 

My question is stated above, does this damn drive do fast error skip? If not, could this be solved by new firmware, or is it forever impossible to read safedisk protected games?

Fast Error skip is part of the software ( and firmware). I believe it can be resolved by restoring to firmware revision 1.4, which is actually an older firmware.
