no solder mod patch?any know/done?
 

hi. does anyone know whether the R-mod requires games to be patched or not.
I've heard that the mod is neo2.2 on a circuit board-but why would it connect to the eject?
I've also heard that it is just a clever tray opener(more likely). If the later is the case, surely games would need patching for dvd checks?
p.s. do you need non chip patches on just cdr and/or dvdr aswell?
