i have two pal games my ps2 is the north american model the problem i have is that the games only play back in black and white ------the two games are backups and my ps2 has been mod any help on getting colour playback or an explenation on why this is happening would be greatly appriciated thanks

You must use(buy) a RGB cable instead of the scart.. that solved that problem on my PAL for ntsc games..

Or You Could Always Patch
 

Another option would be to patch the image, before you burnt it, with the appropriate PAL->NTSC patch available right here on GameCopyWorld. That's what I did for WipeOut Fusion and it works just peachy.

BTW-- for anybody interested, the WOF patch also works just fine on WRC! Don't ask me how or why but it does (because I've been playing the heck outta it). Just apply as you would to WOF, burn and boot like normal.
