Overriding Mod-Sensing games
 

Is there a way around this? I tried applying the patch from the megagames.com site but I think it doesn't disable this smart feature from the game.

The game loads the intro thru the screen where says "Loading..." Then the next screen I get is "Your console may have been modified, please contact this 1-877-xxx-xxxx number" From this point it just hangs and blocks me off from the game.

this means that the game needs to be patched. u are using the protection fix patches, right?

I applied the patched from the megagames site. Is there different ones such as one for a regular and another for a protection patch? I seem to find only one kind for each game.

So there's a way around this thru patching without getting a new Stealth 4 chip? Anyone know of a good site?

u need the protection fix patch to over-ride the mod check.

I see. But I can't seem to find the "protection" one for NBA Shootout 2002. Or at least it's not marked as being a protection fix. Does this mean it hasn't come out yet for this game?
