HELP!PLZZZ new and robotwars wont boot
 
i have found this forum brill
i have learnt to use cd clone to burn PS2 cd roms and 80% succesfully
i cant get robotwars or ssx to boot :confused:
i think i have the 2.2 neo not sure with AR2
i paid £60 so that's wot makes me think it is neo 2
i have a scph-30003 R
When i boot ssx or robotwars it goes to black screen and no more is there diff boot methods for diff games

plzz help i have searched forums looking for hints and tips but i am at dead end

what version ar2 have you got because robot wars would not boot on my ps2 with ar2 v2 but it boots fine with ar2 v1.xx

Ihave AR2V2.02 with V5 ps2 board
 
i think it is the board and chio compatabilty
not sure, i just just had chip two weeks just from wot i read
i have tried the robotwars in freinds and boots great
where i have done a rip of jak dax it plays great and colour in freinds black/white mine

the thing wi robot wars and others is it like gonna boot gets to black screen hear disk speedup and no more
plus a few backup games i bought like tekken tag boots blackand white

go to codejunkies.com and get the ar2 codes for robot wars .
then start game with codes
works every time ar2 v2

The 30003r, v5 PS2 doesnt support the EA tray eject method, Games like SSX must be patched for them to load. You will find the patch at http://www.ps2ownz.com/, look under EA patches.
