What sort of patch
 

I have a question. I`m planning to modify my ps2 and want to copy games. I`ve had a psx and i modified that one to. Some games you have to patch before copying an some not. Is there a list of the ps2 games which need a patch to work? Another question is on megagames you can find patches for ps2 games. Some are for pal to ntsc or ea swap. I want to modify my ps2 with a messiah. What kind of patch do I need. For example if I want to copy 007 Agent Under Fire on a dvd. Which patch do I need. If you look on the psx section you see patches for example for protection fix. I don`t see that sort of patches on teh ps2 sectin and i believe i need that sort of patch for the games. Also EA-Sport games. I heard that they need a different patch. Is this true also with a messiah chip?

if youve got a messiah mod you shouldn`t have to patch your backups because it is a no swap mod and most of the patches are so you can swap using ar2 or gs
