Troubles with backing up...
 

Hi all,

I know that this topic has been touched on before, but I am still having no luck with backing up Max Payne and Medal of Honor. I have read through the forum and tried most of the suggestions with no luck. I use clone cd for most of my copying and I downloaded Cloney XXL (and I must say the English version looks remarkabley like German). Anyhow, I have tried the settings for Safedisk2 etc etc and have had no luck. The issue is this.

I put the original in my burner (LG) and when I start clonecd to create an image file. The burner spins up and then down, up - down and so on and so forth. I let it go as suggested in another forum but after 20mins I decided to can it. Can anyone give me a sure fire way of sucessfuly backing up games with this type of securty. BTW this problem occuer with both Max Payne and Medal of Honor.

My config is this.

PIII 866
256mb
32mb Nvida
LG 32-16-4.
Sony 52x cd-rom
Win XP Pro.
and almost all of the recommended burning software.

P.s. Can anyone tell me how to disable XP own burning facility. It was mentioned that this may cause a prob. TA

This is because there hasn't been released an english version,and the english version you have is a german version+a txt file that transltes some basic words for copying that are in german...
