new writer needed?????
 

hi
i got a ricoh mp7040s.
i used to backup lots of different formats using cdrwin. but now all i seem to do is make coasters! in uk most psx stuff doesnt seem to have patches any more on psxbackup and it wont copy pc stuff.
i understand that most people now use cdclone but my writer is not supported.
i think i need a new writer but i want to make sure i get the right one to mainly back up pc stuff.
i have seen a new ricoh and plextor.
wot would you all recomend

Go for the Plextor 12/10/32 or the Yamaha 16/10/40

does it matter if they are ide or scsi?
which software to use to backup PC or PSX
