If i was to use a Plexwriter 241040A burner with CloneCD and ClonyXXL, i would be able to make a 1:1 copy of all my pc games, even the new ones. Without having to add patches etc. Your help is much appreciated, thanks, John.

This is not as wonderful as seems......mate..New protections like tagès or star force will not be succesfully 1:1 copied(star-force.....i think this is also "backupable").Other protectins like securom or safedisc now includes ATIP check so....impossible to play a backup into a cd-r drive unless a program hides this code....cracks are nly the all working way to play everything.....so...nothing is as easy as appears...!

Also the Plex 24X sadly won't backup the latest SD2 (2.51.021) perfectly (as of yet). You can use the new Betablocker with it - but it sin't ideal as it shouldn't really be necessary. I hope the Plex team can fix it with a firmware upgrade or I hope Olli will update his software soon plz.
