Win XP and Colin mc rae rallye 2 v 1.09 : european patch ?

I've got colin mc rallye 2 installed on win XP and my new wheel need the v1.09 patch to work.

There is a win xp patch for the us version only, does someone make it works for the european version ?

I've already tried this solution and it doesn't work.

I do it again and it works fine. I've got too many cmr2.exe on my hd and the first time i don't use the good one :-)
