etherlords installation 'catastrophic error' ....help pleeze
 

i put in disc 1 and it starts off install ok. it gets to 9% and the cd stops spinning, it just hangs for a while then asks for disc 2. I put it in and hit ok and i get this little window pop up saying 'catastrophic error' the heading on the message box is 'component transfer error'

any ideas much appreciated, never seen anything like it.
