Commandos 2
 

I`ve scanned Commandos 2 on ClonyXL and it doesn`t recognise the protection used, so what do i do now. Someone out there must have done it, all help will be appreciated.

I don't know, but I would guess safedisc 2. I have the real English version, and its weird as it didn't even ask me for the cd when I try to play it. Also I have the worst cd burner in the world (a zip650) and used adaptec easy cd creator, and the copy instaled and played too. This leads me to believe my version isnt copy-protected??! Can't be!

Whatever your version is, just swap the exe file over! And it'll work fine probably!

If you need to know how to make a backup of the 3 cd's email me.. your on the right track but there is a catch to copying the game... they have used more that 1 cd protection. I used clonecd it the game works fine, no patches required.. let me know if you require the setting i used.

Zip650 weren't that bad, they could do the older versions of sd2 while others couldn't. I made back of DFLW and ToNY hawk 2

When I scanned the 1st CD with another program called 'Copy Protection Detect 0.6' It said there were dummy files (In one on the .cab files)

i done a straight backup using disc juggler and all works with no probs i didnt use any patch or anything
