dont worry, i did the same, use "NERO Program" to do a straight copy. ie - CD to CD with "on the fly" unticked. at no more than 4 speed write, it will take its time before it starts to burn about 3 mins to get past the 171 errors on the disk, after that it is plain sailing, with success, and no need to keep the cd in drive as you play the game. Good Luck!

I also found that if I used Nero did a CD to CD copy with the destination as an image at a read speed of 2x and then used Nero’s Imagedrive to test it. I managed to get the disk to install and run without a CD check. I then mastered a CD from the image at normal CDR write speed of 20x.This was for FS 2002 pro. For interest sake I was using a Ricoh MP7200A and Nero Burning ROM 5.5.1.6
