Philips CDRW800 won't burn Kingston Hypermedia cd-r's

IS anyone else having this problem? OR does anyone know how I can maybe fix it or find someone to help me out? I bought hte cds from outpost.com and only one burned at 2x now nothing burns at any speed with any software.
