backing up American mcgee's ALICE

Can someone tell me how to back this game up. I'm using Cloney with clonecd and can't get a copy to work. That is I get it to copy and install but when I put the disk (Copy) in to play it just sits at the title and nothing else. Then I have to control alt delete.

YOur cdrw isn't sd2 compatible that is why it did not work. Alice uses sd2 and only a few can replicate it perfectly. Use clonecd adn then just a fixed exe. What writer do you have because you mihgt have used the wrong settigns while you had the correct writer.

Hi

I have a hp 9100. My dvd 12x wont read so I have to read and write with the cdr. I tried every possible thing.I read at 4x and hit the fast error skip. I tried to use beta blocker with the weak sector setting on and still nothing. It always loads up and sits at the first screen. If my cdr sucks (LOL), what steps do I take to make a fixed .exe?

Thanks for any help you can give me. It is really annoying me!!!

I just wanted to say that I got it to work. I had to download the fixed .exe but thats ok. I installed the game with the copies and swithed the .exe and it works fine!

Thanks for all your help!
