Important News for Operation Flashpoint Upgrade to 1.40!!!
 

Most of you already know this but I'm posting this in case their are a few out there that don't know yet.

Some very kind person by the name of Mad Krele Man posted a crack to crack the official 1.40 update for OPF :) The file is called OPF v1.40 [US/EU] Update Fix v0.666 and you can download it here :)(Game Copy World)

For those of you that don't quite understand how to use the crack I will tell you :)

1) You download the official 1.40 update from ####://www.flashpoint1985.com/download/patches_40.html

2) You download the OPF v1.40 [US/EU] Update Fix v0.666 from here (Game Copy World) in the same directory you downloaded the official 1.40 update. Using unAce you unace the OPF v1.40 [US/EU] Update Fix v0.666 into the same directory.

3) You double click on the ofp140updcrack.exe. It will ask you what file to patch. You double click on OFPPatch_1_40.exe and presto it will begin cracking it :)

4) Double click on the "cracked" update and install it :)

I upgrade OFP to 1.40, but i haven't insert my serial number in Setup! Anyone know how can i put my serial or if there is an serial patch for 1.40???

I am lost!! Please help. I have already upgraded to 1.40. Will this work as a no cd or not? If not, what can I do if anything? Thanks in advance?

Ok, thats fine and dandy for v1.40 but what if you need to update from 1.20 to 1.30????

I'm assuming those links to beta updates got changed to offical updates with safedisc2 and thats how everyone got to 1.30 already!?

The checksum won't match for the update fix to work on v.1.30 (i had to at least try it) So whats the deal?

this download is for the official upgrade version 1.30

download Unace or Unzip or Unrar or whatever it is and place this download in the same folder as the official upgrade v1.30

double click on this Cracked_patch download and apply it to the official upgrade which is about 30 MB.

& this one is for the official ugrade version 1.20 which is also about 30 or 40 MB

I've got OFP installed with v1.30 upgrade (without a crack EXE). I followed the process and run the cracked update for v1.40, and during the update I get Error Found In File ..... for alot of files with the option to Abort, Retry, or Ignore for each file. Anyone else get this and the reason why?

yeah i got this same type of error once when i was upgradeing from 1.20 to 1.30.

i think it was because i needed to reboot before i applied the next upgrade or because 1.30 was already installed. i really dont know the reson why it happend.

i uninstalled ofp and rebooted after every upgrade and i didnt get any errors.

When I try to install the 1.4 cracked update as discribed above, it tells me I do not have the game installed or that it is a corrupted version. Any Ideas?

I installed the cracked patch and I used the crack, post on GCW. But it look like the crack on GCW dont disable fade. I can't shoot straight with grenade launcher on M-16 riffle and other weapons.
