How do I create a temp. directory?? Plz. Help.
 

Trying to make backup copy of Sims & Livin Large for niece and I don't know how to create a temporary directory so that I can use the patch given on gamefix. Please help. Thanks in advance.

A temp directory is just a folder that you can delete later on.
All you have to do is create a new folder. You can do this anywhere, but go into My Documents, then right click on a clear space, then got New, then Folder.
This will create a new folder which u can rename to whatever you want. When you're asked to copy whatever to a temp directory, you copy the files into this folder.

When you're finished with the patch, you can delete the folder and it's contents, cos it's only temporary.

Thanks for your help. Managed to get all the way to executing patch.bat and kept getting error messages that said make sure files were extracted to same folder. I've tried it twice starting from scratch and going all the way through the directions exactly as they are written w/ no luck. Am going to try one more time b4 giving up. Any advice would be appreciated.

Make sure u you extracted ALL the files.
