Looking at the topic title just confused me into thinking this was a solution to my problem....doh :(

Really do enjoy the game.

i tried the hacked 1.16f .exe file from gcw and it didnt work quite right
i installed civ3, patched it to 116f then copied the hacked 116f exe file to the civ3 folder..the game started but in the first interface screen (where u pick new game or load etc) there were no buttons and no text. just the backgroudn image. Same with the new game interface.

Anyone found a solution to this. or a working 116f crack file?
