help on cd writer
 

I am looking to buy a cd writer for christmas and would like some opinions on them. I was looking at the hp writer that conects using USB. Does anyone know if any of these are any good. I would like to be able to move this from computer to computer. I would also like it to copy sub channels if possible. If this one is not recommeded could you please recommend some and give explanation.

Don't have any personal experience with HP but haven't heard great things about them. If you're looking internal and don't want to drop a bunch of cash then I recommend the Plextor 8432. These babies will give you what you want at approximately $150. They have a great past with reading subchannel.
