max payne and clonecd
 

can someone please help me i have just bought a copy of max payne and i would like to make a backup copy however when i put it in and try to make an image file using clone cd nothing happens can someone please help me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have got clonyxl but when i use clonecd i try to make an image file of max payne but nothing happens it does not read even 1 percent

I think Max Payne has Safedisk 2 protection. Most Cd-writers can't copy this protection, some can like the Plextor 24X, Acers etc. What writer do you have as it sounds like it isn't able to handle Safedisk 2 protection.

What you should do is look for the cracks on GCW or make your own using Unsafedisk 2. You will have to replace the original exe with a fixed one.

Set the following settings on Clone CD:

Max Read Speed: x4
Read Retrys: 3
Error Corrections: None

Works Fine using a TEAC CDW-54E
