Help needed for the Championship Manager 01/02 fix
 

Hi,

I don't know if anyone else has tried to download this fix but I can't seem to get it to work.

I have installed the game,downloaded the file and copied it into the directory but it doesn't work.

The file comes down as cm0102_exe.ace.
I have tried keeping this format,renmaing it to just .exe and associating it with the real cm0102 exe file but the fix still does not work !!


I have also noted that the file size is greatly different but I know that this doesn't really mean anything.
Has anybody else had this trouble that could advise me on what i am doing wrong ?

The file is a compressed file, just like a zip file or whatever, and you need WinAce to open it. You can get it for free from www.download.com, use it to open the cm0102_exe.ace file and extract the contents to the CM directory to overwrite the original cm0102.exe file.
