CDR VCDS ON PS2 OR STANDALONE DVD PLAYER

I have a back up of a VCD. My standalone DVD player doesn't accept cdr's or cdr-rw. Neither does my PS2. Is there any way in playing the VCD on either the DVD player or PS2? PLEASE HELP!
