No cd or fixed exe? Please help!
 

Ive just bought Myst Exile, and want to make a copy of it for the pc upstairs so my brother and I can play it at the same time. Things is, with a no cd patch, you need to install it fully +- 2gb which the pc doesnt have, so i was wondering is there a patch that removes the copy protection so it will copy right, but can still check the cd for data when you play so you dont have to fully install it. Hope that makes sense! Are such patches called fixed exe's, or is that just another name for the no-cd patch?

Why not just do a full install on the PC with disc space, and then use the no-cd on that one?

You can then do a limited (if possible...not all recent games give you an option) install on the smaller PC and use the original cd?????

As many times i tested, sometimes there is no difference between fixed exe or no cd crack.In this case i tested all the cracks for myst exile and the unique working fixed exe i found was in www.copiasdeseguridad.org. This is a spanish page but i think this fixed exe should work for any languaje.Just try it and replace the original for the cracked.
