Max Payne
 

i have tried to make a backup from max payne with my plextor 12\10\32A,clony and clone cd.After install from backup cd i can play the game with and without a no cd patch,but the problem is,that i never die !!!
only when i m playing in the developer modus,i can cheat
mortal then its ok for this loaded game.
another Try:
make an iso jmage with blind read,extract the iso with WinISO then install and play,same problem as first time!
can anyone tell me,what i can do for a working max payne backup?

I was able to succesfully copy the Max Payne CD this way:
first, simply copy the entire content of the cd into a folder on your hard drive, except for the direct x folder, which isn't needed. This will have all the files you need, and all of the data is small enough to fit on a standard cdr. Next, just make a data cd with the contents of the folder. It sounds strange, but it works, the cd works to install, but you will still need the no-cd patch. This process worked fine for me. To make it even handier, you can just toss the no-cd patch in the mix while making the cd.
