I know it just came out today, but when will there be a fixed-exe or no-cd crack for it? I need one very soon...

I didn't see any mechwarrior 4 v 2.0 no-CD patch at those sites... anyone going to create one?

According to NFO News - FLTDOX released a cracked version of the 2.0 patch on 9/19/2001.

Now the trick is to be able to find that file.

I haven't had any luck with unSafeDisk 1.5.5 - which I used successfully on 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0 beta. Ran it last night on 2.0 and it was still running 8 hours later. Took 20 seconds before, so I think I am doing something wrong.

unSafeDisk v1.5.5 will crack MechWarrior 4, version 2.0 - just be sure that the update works correctly.
1. mw4.exe version should be 01.20.07.2403
2. mw4.icd file size should be 3,533 kb

[after running unSafeDisk - move mw4.exe to "safedisk20 mw4.exe" and move "testme.exe" to "mw4.exe".]

I tried creating my own patch as above, but still asks for disc. Any suggestions?

Ok, so can anyone at least tell me if the fixed .exe posted on GameCopyWorld works for Win9x/WinMe? I have Win2k, and i get the same error msg, not a valid Win32 app, plus i cant use unSafeDisc 1.55 ... does anyone have a solution for this?

So, still nobody has come up with a WORKING patch, huh? Interesting...I wouldn't think that it would be this difficult.

Firstly, unsafedisk has problems on some machines deprotecting - crappy code. My machine is lucky to be one of them.
Mech 4 also contains a cd check not just cdilla.
I did the crack for 2.0 that didnt work on Win2k. Sorry bout that seems i didnt think bout Win2k and imagesize ####up. This problem is fixed now and will be on the next gcw update. Sorry again
