red alert 2 prob
 

when i try to burn red alert 2 it reads okay but when i try to write the image file, it freezes up ar shuts down the computer. I used beta blocker and fast error retries 3 and error correction none and i have atoshiba dvd rom and a sony crx160e which i use for reading and writing

I would presume that you are using CloneCD 3.X....if that is the case it sounds like the problem is in your reader. Granted the Sony drives are not the best at CD duplication but since you had used BetaBlocker I'm surprised that you are having issues...this leads me to believe that you need to upgrade your firmware. The only reason I say that is I had issues with my old HP drive when I first started with this back-up deal and after I upgraded my firmware most of my problems went away...and HP drives were made by Sony...sneaky buggers....I would suggest upgrading the firware first and retrying it. With RA2 I didn't need to use BetaBlocker and my copies were perfect and worked in all drives...but now SD2 is new and improved so now I kill it with my Acer...never defeated yet!!
