AOE2 Backup

I hope this is posted to the correct forum if not please excuse me.

I need to make a backup of Age of Empires 2 before my son ruins the current CD. What is the best way to accomplish this? I know that MS has some sort of Copy Protection on the disk and that I will need a third party utility to copy the CD, but I don't know where to find one.
Any help in this matter would be appericated.
Thanks in advance

try getting clonecd from the clonecd underground site at www.elaboratebytes.com. they also have a ### gen on their site, so u can register ur copy of clone cd. they should also have a list of games that need special settings on clonecd for it to work, so u should ##### that out to see what u should set clone cd on to burn aoe2.

while, you're at it. is there a patch to allow single player of the expansion with no cd?

goto ####://go.to/gamefix and get the aoe2 1.0b cracked update file, but after that, get the real update from ####://www.microsoft.com/games (should be somewhere around there), and then run the real update to update ur version of the conquerors to 1.0b, then after that, get the age2_x1.exe file from the cracked update and stick it into ur program files/microsoft games/age of empires ii/age2_x1/ directory to overwrite the previous one. now u can play w/o the cd on both single player and multiplayer.

Is there another program than CloneCd that I can use?
