Does D2 1.08 No-CD crack even work??
 

I follow the instructions (posted below) and I can to step 5, then when I try to connect to Battle.Net, I get an error, I tried open and closed. I can't even do it with regular Diablo 2, but when in 1.08, upgraded through downloading the file and running it from the comp, it works, but I can't connect to B.Net, either open or closed. When looking through 1.02, when I look at the main screen to connect to closed Battle.Net, it doesn't show the Realms tab underneath it.
Any help??

SHORT WAY
=========
First only try to update the game to the newest version of Diablo2
and then extract the Game_crk2Win2k.exe and DLoad.exe.
Rename Game_crk2Win2k.exe into Game_crk.exe
####t the game with the DLoad.exe and try to connect to bnet.
If it works it's your luck *g*

--> if it not works use the longer but secure way

LONGER WAY (but secure)
=======================

DEINSTALL ANY OLDER VERSION
-> it can cause that the bnet do not work

01. Do a Multiplayer-Install
02. Copy D2Music.mpq from 2nd Disc into your Install-Dir
03. update to version 1.02 and leave the automatic ####ted game
(download here ###://###.blizzard.com/pub/diablo2/patches/D2Patch_102.exe)
04. copy the DLoad.exe and the Game_crk.exe into your Install-Dir
05. ####t Diablo2 with the DLoad.exe
IMPORTANT --> Play-Disc has to be inserted.
06. connect to bnet and let the update finish (about 5 minutes)
07. leave the Game
08. remove the Play-Disc
09. rename the Game_crk2Win2k.exe to Game_crk.exe and replace
the old one in your Install-Dir.
10. re####t the game with DLoad.exe
10. reconnect to bnet without Disc inserted :-)
