DFLW

I've been away for 6 months and just got back. Has anyone found a way to backup this game yet? Any Help is GOOD HELP. AND I know that I can burn the install on my HD.

I just used clonecd with read subchannel data from both the audio tracks and data tracks boxes #####ed, and got a nice perfect copy I can install with if I ever need it. ( I have a no cd crack for the latest version, so I don't play with the cd, but I'm sure it worx cuz it installed perfectly.)

What Burner are you using? If you don't mind me asking. Thanks

also, did you get some sort of message in CloneCD that said the size of the file was bigger than the allowable space on the blank CD? I get something like:
"size of image file = 782mb...size of allowable space = 756mb"

I have a hp 9100 8x4x32. As for your size problem, I'm pretty sure its because your tryin to use 75 min. discs. If you are using 80 min. discs and it still gives you that size error, it maybe because you have a writer that is incompatible writer. My HP 7200 writer that I had before this one was not supported by clonecd. If your sure your writer is compatible and your sure your using 80 min. discs, I cannot think of anything else that could cause that problem. Maybe try updating your version of clonecd.....?

oh by the way, I updated my version to 1.0030, and did not apply a no-cd crack, and my backup plays perfectly with movies, music and all. So if your writer is compatible and you have the boxes for subchannel data for audio and data tracks #####ed, ( The media I used were 80 min. Verbatim dark-blue bottomed cdr's), you should come out with a perfect good-as-new copy you can both install and play with.

thanks for the replies...I have to re##### my CD-RW compatibility. I have a Sony CRX100 I think. I tried again last night...#####ed the read audio and data subchannels before I ####ted...the size problem was fixed (I was using the bigger CDRs), but the computer froze up at the 99% mark on the writing phase of the copy. I'll re##### the CD-RW drive compatibility and repost.

*edit*..btw, I already updated to the lastest version of CloneCD.

Ok, I have the Sony CRX140e, which should be fully compatible with CloneCD. I ##### read subchannel data for audio and data, and its still now working. Either it hangs at the 99% read mark, or I get a system error and must close the program, or one time the computer rebooted by itself!! I've #####ed some documentation, but can't find the solution, any ideas to ##### out would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

Just a thought, but is your version of clonecd registered. Since your positive your writer is compatible, thats the only thing that I can think of. Mine is a registered version, but when I was using the trials I had several problems such as yours. Its just an idea, so I'm not even sure if this would do you any good, but worth a try.

Phite 08-07-2001 15:35

your right, my version is not registered yet....I'm still in the trial version. I'll give it a try again once I register. Thanks
