F.A.D.E. solved
 

Before u run Op. Flashpoint, ##### it`s install directory to see if a file called FLASHPOINT.RPT is there. If it is, delete it.
Do this every time u run the game, and u will never be affected by F.A.D.E.
It really works.
When u first load the game, it #####s to c if the CD is legit. If it isn`t, it generates the FLASHPOINT.RPT file. Once, this file is generated, even using the original to play the game with, u will be affected by F.A.D.E.
The file is report to the game instructing it to use F.A.D.E.. Foolishly, using the original again will not remove this file, it must be done manually.
No .rpt, no F.A.D.E.

I just made a copy and played with it, but there is no rpt file ?!?

if u did a fresh install & the applied the crack, no .rpt file would b generated

Sorry but i dont play it with a crack! I copied it with Clone-CD amd my Plextor 820Tsi..seem to work without problems :-)

i just made a copy with my philips burner, works fine at present but not sure if fade will kick in sometime?

how long before fade would normally kick in?

My copy of OF works basically but as stated in an earlier posting (no replies :(( ) F.A.D.E. obviously kicks in right at the beginning!! The car to steal in Single Mission 1 is just not there.
Any clues......? Please??

If You install the game & apply the No Cd crack, F.A.D.E.
will never affect the gameplay in any way....?

I have a clean install (with crack) & no *rpt file in the directory, does that mean, I´m on the safe side, when it comes to F.A.D.E. , because you say: "no .rpt, no F.A.D.E."?

What srikes me, is, that after I installed OF for the first time from my original CD (w/o crack), the *rpt file was there...*???*

If someone has other experiences with this strange fade & *rpt stuff, please post!!!
(and if you should know, when F.A.D.E. kicks in, please post, too ;-))

i made copy with my philips, before i even installed game and installed from copy , i haven't a rpt file in the directory or using a patch,works fine but not sure for how long in case fade kicks in- has anyone experienced fade kick in and after how long?

this fade shit sucks! i downlaoded deviance OP release a week ago , worked tip top the first 3 days and now i cant get it to ####t! i on the 15 mission in campaign mode, havent tried that steel the car mission yet so i cant tell if its there or not
when i ####t game now i usually gets 2 kinds of errors, the first is that it just dont ####ts and freeezes at the first screen at loadup, the 2nd is a weird error message right after scrren 2 shows up with text:
out of reserved memory(663562kb)
code change required.

B max free size 509861

wtf means that?i have never had that message before and i do have enough memory, 128 mb mosel vitelic, anyone having the same problem?
about that .rpt file, i cant find any file named that, i loked in all subfolders and it not there, is it hidden or something?

So what the hell is this? Could it be cause i have win2k and i dont have the OFP win2k update because i have cracked versio of OFP?

since im using win98 1st edition it cant be a win2k bug, hmmm, this is so weird becasue i have never ecountered this message in any games i played before and its very much games i played +50 or so, so i bet it is this fade shit because when i reinstalled it it was gone, lets hope it doesnt comes up again or i will destroy my disc permantly,lol

the mission with the car work´s , the car is not in the right place , is in back of town near a tractor , i have finished the mission . I have made a copy with clonecd 3.0.2.3 ( Ricoh MP 7083A ) with the no-cd from megagames and works very well antil now , maybe slow sometimes for a Pentium III 1000 MHZ and 256 MB PC 133 MHZ and a Creative Geforce 2 ULTRA . But it still working , no crashes , blue screen or lose memory . Does anyone knows something more about FADE ( true or making confusion in the copy belivers ? ) .

ive copied Operation Flashpoint, and there isnt a .rpt file on my hard drive.

topic closed-dont waste your time for such thinks if we had really FADE it wouldn't be possible to kill such a protection with delete one file :D
