COPYING ANY MS SOFTWARE> AOE2, Flgitsim2k...
 

I'm trying to make images of my copies of Age of Empires 2; Age of Kings, and MS Flight Simulator 2000, but I keep getting spindowns with CDclone. I have the 16x10x40xA Plextor drive. I've tried other games like Tribes2, Diablo2 etc, and they seem to make images fairly easy, but these 2 just won't work. I've also tried my 8x DVD drive to make the images but it does the same thing, the disc just stops spinning.

The cd don´t stop - it just slows down ...
MS uses SafeDisc as protection for the games you tried to backup, but you´re able to make perfect copies with your Plextor and CloneCD.
Try to ##### ´fast error skip´ and see if the copy works, otherwise be cool and relax in the sun while CloneCD reads the cd - it may take some time, ´cause SafeDisc uses errors as part of the protection.
