Can i burn MPEG's file to a cd and have it run in a DVD player?

Since i just bought the plextor plexwriter 12/10/32a and i just happen to have a couple of music videos i just would like to know if a DVD player would play the video in a burned cd?

NO. simple as that. dvd video files are in .vob form, so mpeg is out of the question. even if u were able to convert into .vob, i dont think theres like a find .vob file thing on dvd players, so u cant. just no.

Actually you can, by converting the .vob files to .avi files, then the .avi files to video CD compliant .mpg files, & then burning them as a VideoCD.

Good Luck! ;)

Hi Peepz as Leesim suggested of course you can as long as your player will play the VCD format. But to save time just convert from vob to Mpeg and then burn with nero.
