sorry im new to this, ive got another problem!
im on my 3rd copy of black and white. it looks ok but when i try installing it the bnw box comes up with the 'install' buttons etc, but its missing the 'diagnositics' and 'technical support' buttons.
when i click install the installshield bar comes up, reads to 100% then goes off and... nothing else happens!! (it should ask for the game code id thingy)
If anyone else has encountered this, do you know what ive done wrong?

i copied the contents of the bnw cd to a tempdir using windows explorer and when i try installing from the tempdir it works fine.

ive also labelled my copy BNW like the original so its not that.

IS IT TRUE THAT I HAVE TO FULLY INSTALL THE GAME TO MY HARD DRIVE AND MAKE A COPY OF THE DIRECTORY I INSTALLED IT TOO?
I WOULD BE GRATEFUL IF SOMEONE COULD EXPLAIN THIS!
