Age Of Empires 2 Internet Question
 

Well I copyed aoe2 to my hd and cracked it and then burnt it and when I go to play on the net I can't join any games. Why is this? Is there a way to fix this? and I also made a different copy of aoe2 and when I try that one it says insert the cd. Why is this? Is there a way to fix this? Someone please give me some feedback.

Since I'm not a tech person, I'll try and answer this as best as possible (If anyone else wants to help out feel free) Usually when a game is cracked, it changes the .exe file (or something along those lines) when people then go online with the game, the sites check and update this file, if they don't match, you don't play, it's that simple. So far, the only way I've seen a way around this is to find (or wait for) a new patch for the new update. (Like Unreal Tournament, untill they stopped updating the .exe file) Hope this helps
