new writer
 

I've just bought a Philips CDRW804K 32x8x4. ( Firmware 1.8) I only bought it coz it did DOA RAW writing. What types of copy protection have people backed up with this writer??? safedisk, safedisk 2 .... U know the sort of thing. what can this drive copy??? i haven't got any protected disks to try it out on!!!!

Firstly, excelent choice on the writer!!!!!(same as mine!)

Secondly, that writer copys ever game if you use cloneCD with "fast error skip" ticked and using the writer as the reader and burning the games at 2-4x speed

Cool! I was wondering, because there is a real lack of info for this drive. Pity this drive isn't SCSI and it wont even do overburn, or CD+G. But that what my Yamaha 6416S is for!!!!
