Worms 2? :(
 

Ok I went to MegaGames I downloaded all the patches on Worms 2 (Well for US version anyway)
All of them seem to be the same file as far as I can tell...

But anyways when I try to test it out it opens up a DOS window and says something like "Runtime Error 200" and some other things behind that ..numbers an such

I'm thinking I saw a message alot like it before..only in Windows and it was for VB200
So I don't have any VB files on this computer...I was hoping maybe somebody could give me a link that would have them..or tell me a solution to the problem?

Just to clear it up I upzipped it into the Worms 2 directory...tried to run it and it did that..
I tried installing the .reg file that was in there but still did the same thing...
Any ideas?

Ok sorry....was tired last night and didn't think..hehe
I need the No-cd patch ....Its such a old game and impossible to find in stores anymore so I don't want to risk losing the cd..

WHy r u useing a ccd crack when u can just run it from the cd back up copy

I know the solution to your problem... however it simply creates another problem.

When you unzipped the patch did you check the zip documentation button in the unzip process. If you did you would see some instructions. What you have to do is reinstall worms by clicking custom install and unchecking the sound bank options. Then apply the official v1.05 patch at worms2.com.

Then of course you apply the crack. The only problem is that it says in the instructions to copy the data dirctory from the worms2 cd onto your harddisk. Whats wrong with that you ask? Well there is already a data dirctory in your hardrive's worms2 directory! So what are you supposed to do overwrite? I doubt it.

I hope I helped you out a little bit, and got you a bit further. I have emailed shadow runner (creator of the crack) for further instruction and I should have a solution soon. Then I'll help you out. All I ask in return is for you to check me diablo2 patchs post... and try and find some help for me! :)

I would have burnt the cd....one problem
I don't have a burner...
I was planning on buying one....really I was!
hehe But if I did I doubt I'd ever use it...this would probably be the first time..
